BBC Newsnight has just revealed that a whistleblower has e-mails sent between the Bank of England and Bob Diamond authorising Barclays to manipulate libor.
Newsnight would have dismissed this and not reported on it unless they were pretty-damn certain about the validity of the whistleblower.

Tarpley.net was “FORBIDDEN” as the message read. The Academic community have ways of imposing sanctions on entities that attempt censorship of “Scholarly Debate”. Also penalties will be imposed, so as to discourage further abuse of ‘censorship’ powers. We know who demanded the censorship, and the next ‘Scholarly Debate’, will focus on remedies.

If it was almost any other class of people pulling of this huge fraud, the politicians would be falling over themselves promising new regulation, stiffer gaol terms, restructuring of the industry etc etc. Not for any moral reason , just to pander to the masses and hopefully gain political advantage.

Joe Saluzzi just wrote a new book, “Broken Markets.” Saluzzi works in the equities market and brings to light problems with HFT, High Frequency Trading, and how traders are getting ripped off big time to the point they are dropping out of the market. Parasitic HFT algorithms and dark pools are leaking information on traders, beating them to the punch with their trades, and engaging in momentum ignition trades to cause volatility to jam quotes.
