Awfully sad story, a man under tremendous stress from dealing with politicans shifting the deckchairs on the Titanic..
If politicans actually held the bankers to account and regulated the financial system, ordinary people doing good work behind the scence wouldn’t be under tremendous pressure and feel compelled to take the ultimate action and end their lives.
My heart and my thoughts go out to this gentleman’s family and friends. A good man lost but not forgotten .

He was head of IT in BoE when implementing a system change in which regulatory oversight was to move from the FSA (no, not the Free Syrian Army, but quite alike!) to them. Bet he stumbled upon something. After all you don’t slash your arm first and then with your last remaining pump of blood stab yourself in the chest.

Natwest, Barclays, Midlands, Lloyd. Manic Street Preachers 1992:
What’s the deal with these fuckers named Diamond (or a derivative thereof)?
I see what I did there…
Also, I’d just about bet my silver that someone else did all the stabbin’ for him.
hihi
Yeah, i seen this last week. He clearly found something.

Way beyond our limitations.

So get this straight, a month or two before LIEBOR broke they were moving certain regulatory thingies from the FSA to BOE. And then later the LIEBOR breaks and Barclay’s is all guilty but BOE isn’t. Does the word cartel ring a bell?
What regulatory changes were being implemented in April, how does it relate to LIEBOR?
And as from ZeroHedge, apparently Deutsche Bank (the deer in the headlights right now, well if you forget Rabobank who could become roadkill overnight or nothing happens depending on the other) is ready to spill some beans.
Yummie. Beans.
Best all,

And yes indeed HD, what’s with the names. Dimon, Diamond, Dymon. All sound like Demon hehe. Let’s hope my good pal Neil Diamond survives. I’m of a much younger generation but love that guy as an artist.

From TFA note this: “Chris Dymond was a highly valued colleague to all those that worked with him.”
Uhm, so he (his position) was worth lots of fiatos to them. I rest my case

ahhh… the old “self inflicted multiple stab wound suicide” You hear about that all the time…. foul play? no way….
Robert Mockan
Sure. We will be seeing more alleged suicides. Also more airplane accidents.
The media will be told to stop reporting the “incidents” when the number increases.
When are the idiot people going to wake up.

Ah yes a classic case of multiple stab wounds to the chest resulting in death by suicide. Move along! go back to sleep! Nothing to see! Here’s a tissue and a spot in the Telegraph. Zzzzzz… the only people even remotely capable of acts like that are heads of Japanese corporations and Samurais. and last time i checked Dymond was neither.
@Hegelian
oooh yes i did well played good man!
OlympiaLogger
That’s called Arkancide.
Suicide by multiple self-inflicted wounds with no powder burns and entry on a trajectory or in the case of stab wounds, originating somewhere like… above and behind.

Today the Treasury Select Committee is taking evidence from Jerry Del Missier, former Cheif Operating Oficer, Barclays at 16:00 GMT and then Lord Turner, Andrew Bailey and Tracey McDermott of the Financial Services Authority at 16:45 GMT
Why are they all called Dymond, Dimond, Diamond or alike??
Marc Authier
No chance of this happening to Diamond and Dimon or Masters ? It would be a great thing to introduce in banking by the japanese way. Cannot wait to see Jamie Demon opening up his belly with a japanese sword.
Anyone thinking of David Kelly right now?
