The outfit known as “We Are Change” is unquestionably damaging to the liberty movement. These are not “journalists,” no matter what they fancy themselves. This outfit is a collection of conspiracy theorists that chase down movement figures to ask asinine and embarrassing questions. Along with making sure the Ron Paul movement lives up to every stereotype our enemies would like to portray, this is this group’s primary role in American political life. And it is a uniquely dumb role.
I’ve been questioning on what basis ‘Libertarians’ (plus Mises Inst. and Ayn Rand followers) have to support their extremist views. In response, we’ve seen how fragile and lacking in self-confidence defenders of these radical ideas really are. ‘We Are Change’ has done a service by exposing Jack Hunter.
Jack’s ‘Liberty Movement’ is just a cover to support radical, ill-informed economic views that suppress truly free markets and genuine competition. A true Libertarian would welcome Luke Rudkowski and We Are Change as a fresh competitive force in the media and journalism space.
We Are Change Confront Fake Libertarian Jack Hunter

This is what the fake libertarians are all about. They want you to look at one effect of the government but tell you to ignore another. They point out corruption in the financial system but ignore subsidies to the oil industry. They complain about taxes and unions, but ignore pollution and the huge funding for the military industrial complex. Here Jack Hunter tells us to go look at the lack of liberty you see on the street, but forget about Bilderberg and all the secret meetings (even though they are real) because it’s ‘kooky’.
If we’re going to strive for liberty, we have to be consistent and do it across the board. All of the financial regulations that existed were needed to balance out many other laws and regulations that still exist. You cannot say “I’m a libertarian so I’m against these regulations” while we still have legal tender laws, for example. It must be all or nothing.
