Good man George.
There goes George again, being sensible!
George has the right idea about fixing local problems before trying to police the rest of the world. (Something the leaders here in the US need to learn.) Unfortunately bad things happen and nothing will ever change or stop this until the world becomes a perfect place.
Well done George. Even Anne Diamond agreed with you. Let’s concentrate in our problems at home. Bravo !
George is on the right track. The Respect Party needs to grow and we need a similar one in the US.
I really find it hard to believe that ‘rebel Islamist’ fighters give a damn about me or anyone in my south london high road, yet this is being presented to us like our national safety depends on it.
George should have immediately pointed out that the Jihadists were not in control of the Malian uprising at the start. Same in Syria. The Jihadists were not heading the uprising in Syria but they could easily end up being … just like Mali.
People have to remember that Revolutions RARELY turn out the way those at the start intended them to be. The American Revolution, the Russian Revolution and the Iranian Revolution. All started with high-minded ideology but by the end of it all, the sociopaths were in control.
Well said George. The Ron Paul of UK. When I comes to foreign policy.
hummmmm it always seems to be a choice between two evils and of cause this highlights the crux of the whole political and economic system ITS AN ILLUSION OF CHOICE…!
In 3 words;
When will the likes of the other guests get it?……………Whatever the moral justification put forward (to save innocent people etc) the real reason is so often self interest! In the case of Mali and Syria its about the global political dynamic of a western empire setting as an eastern one, CHINA (the rather obvious elephant in the room) is rising!
The fight over the natural resources; oil / gas /rare minerals has its battle ground in Africa as well as the middle east …..this is becoming so obvious that even the world service is starting to tread in what the elephant is depositing!
