Mark Dice is back with his trusty Gold Maple

Is there anything funnier than laughing at the average American? Of course if you played the same game in Asia or the Middle East the video would only last about 30secs. I have played the same mind game with 3 Aussies. The 2 Skips were about $500 off the 1oz gold price, the Australian born guy of Lebanese parents hit the price with only a $5 difference. Got no clue about the value of gold? blame your parents, it is so much easier than blaming your own deliberate ignorance.

Setting aside the utter rudeness of most of these people, lets go with a Biblical metaphor.

Did folks listen to Noah, before they drowned in the great flood?

    They got what they deserved.

Ignorance…………will NOT be bliss when the flood comes.

    Only much death and wailing!

    ………………………………………..Z

I bet all the Gold bugs on Financial War Reports got the price to within a couple of Dollars.
You would have thought the old guy would have taken that ounce (@50% of its value) even if he’d called a thousand bucks… but $36..! It’s no wonder the Wall Street Mafia are fisting us to death.
“Goodbye useless eaters…” there is something foreboding about the end of that video.

No more aware than the last videos.

Don’t ask East Indians or Asians in general: you might lose the coin.

Mark Dice is far denser than gold.

The masses are more interested in useful things that have more relevance in their lives than a stupid metal and its (not worth it) high price. The ‘value’ of gold only comes in context when some other variables are put in the mix; variables that the masses are unaware of and even then the ‘go-to’ nature of ‘wealth’ of gold is a banker wank-fest.

Knowing the gold price is just another way of following the doings of bankers who want us all under their gold or paper spell; either way will do.

The audience were actually more intelligent and less dense than Mark Dice, and a whole lot less arrogant. Which isn’t saying much of course.

If a deek-hedd like Mark Dice were to stop me on the street in front of a camera offering a free coin, I’d wonder what his motivation was and move away pronto too.

If he wants to imply that people are dumb because of this, he is the one that’s dumb. But he already knows this, and it’s just another way of promoting himself so why not do it?

Whether the coin is cheap or free is irrelevant.

  7. Bruce

    Dave, yes.

Idol and Dance involve lots of discipline and are worthy of admiration, unlike the deek-hedd who created this video.

Anyone with half a brain knows a gold coin is basically irrelevant in their lives except when used in finished goods that are actually useful; it’s a mere luxury metal. It’s only relevant in the context of following in the mistakes of bankers for another tool of control by bankers, used to control the masses and preventing them from creating their own money systems and now we are wrapping it up in the “real money” flag and praising it like things will really change now.

    As if.

It doesn’t surprise me in the least that the masses in general don’t value it as much as those ‘in the know’ and neither should they. This coming from someone who owns gold, by the way.

It’s only a wealth preservation tool in the context of the colossal fraud we are currently in, and it does nothing to stop it repeating. If he cared about saving the sheep as opposed to self-serving, his approach would be far different.

  8. marcio

@Commentariat, according to Joseph P. Farrell, 8 trillion dollars have evaporated from the banking system to a more than black sized budget, black plus size if you wish, because the top 1% elite needs to develop a Star-Trek like technology to protect themselves against the Marsians, but the Vatican – please, don’t lose the track – wants a more peaceful transition, i.e, to convert the Pleiadians to Catholicism so they can convince the Marsians to follow suit. Therefore, what M. Dice, remember, God doesn’t play dices according to Albert Einstein, is referring to when he says “Goodbye useless eaters…” is not that “there is something foreboding about the end of that video”, but is that the top 1% elite wants to live the Earth after half of the Galaxy have been converted to Catholicism – please, I’m not making this stuff up. What time is it…?

And most of the comments on this topic are DUMB as the dumb asses who could not answer the question .. gee . I bet they are so busy wondering about what Honey Boo Boo or the Kardashians are up too . .who can be bothered with this info. Regardless, bankers or not .. either these people live off the govt. are independently wealthy or Americans are really stupid MF’ers.

  10. Verner

most people are simply stupid; they get use to simple uncomplicated way of life, without asjking any questions, most people TRULY BELIEVE that normal coin is worth as much as gold coin. STUPIDO small people

  11. Bruce

People are dumb for not knowing gold prices, right? And the condescending, self-promoting knuckle-dragger interviewing them is ‘smart’ for knowing the value of the coin, right?

And it’s ‘unbelievable’ how nobody can guess the price, right?
OMG, how stupid the sheeple are!

Look at me wiff ma gold and mah silvers!
    I willz be saved!

Real moneyz from god’s green earthz!

PS. 9 out of 10 social engineers recommend Will & Kate taking precedence over the Kardashians. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m about to go yell at some Walmart shoppers over my bullhorn.

  12. Goldman Sucks

    @ Bruce
“Anyone with half a brain knows a gold coin is basically irrelevant in their lives ”

Not when you can sell it for $1775. FFS. It’s a new 2nd hand car or replacement boiler system for your house or a 6 months worth of food etc etc. Wind it it in, you’re talking out of your arse man.

  13. Danny Cunnington

Well only about one in three hundred people actually stack physical silver and gold so it’s no surprise that most people don’t know. Also, as he is accosting people ad lib most of them will suspect some kind of scam.

I think he has picked his area carefully. If you tried the same thing in a financial area he’d have lost that coin fairly quickly. (Even the paper bugs who hate gold know the price). Or you could try asking gun owners and gun shops. Most of them are happy to trade guns and ammo for gold or silver coins.

Finally, What happens to Mark Dice when someone with a smart phone just searches gold price and reads off the answer?

  14. Verner

    @Bruce
People are dumb for not knowing value of gold, because it takes some precious time involving few brain cells left after watching Kardashians or another reality show i.e. “Virgins who have 2 tits”
How stupid U have to be to not know it’s worth a lot.
For such people golden coin is as modern as Ford T from 20′s.
If Kardashians or other bitches would put golden coins on their NIPPLES, THE PRICE WOULD RISE!

  15. jackjohnsonsecond

I have to say, I feel a bit bad watching this. Over the past few years, I’ve gone from resentment of people’s complete ignorance and naivety, to feeling pity for them. Anyone else?

  16. bit chin

    @Bruce

You think because Dice approaches Americans in that way, making them suspicious about ‘free’ anything, that he is a manipulator and that this invalidates the message in this video?

Do you think, because you prefer to watch vacuous and shallow tarts and hunks, z-list celebrities and burnt-out has-been stars doing sychronised dancing moves to a zombie audience than being aware of the financials world’s imminent collapse, that this is a more intelligent use of time and creativity?

    Fail.

  17. bit chin

    @jackjohnsonsecond

    Yes, me too.

As ZORRO – London remarks at the top of the page – by the time people are aware of what’s going on, it will be far, far too late. I feel great pity. But also resent for having been party to such utter stupidity and inactivity for so long.

I watched dumbstruck as reports about the sweatshops in the east came out in the 90′s. No one did anything, they just carried on consuming. Pilger revealed the horrors of war for decades, nobody cared enough to challenge their governments – instead too busy looking after their own, not caring about the innocents killed abroad. The world trade centre was destroyed in a controlled demolition – people accept the governments lie and do nothing to challenge it. People marched against war in Iraq, the media covered it up and continued nevertheless.

    We deserve what’s coming.

  18. ronron

holy fuck. he,s lucky he didn’t run into me. he should have been using sponge bob square pants. everyone would win. losers.

  19. Chris

I hope guys like Bruce are collecting their “relevant” paper dollars and when they are worthless people like Bruce can end up like the people in Zimbabwe.

  20. Dustbowl Daze

One of these days Mark Dice is going to flip out and shove the coin up someone’s ass. “TAKE THE COIN! GODDAMMIT TAKE THE COIN! ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED?”

  21. jarrollin

@ everyone except Bruce sheesh, Give Bruce a break. I think he’s just trying to throw a stick of TNT into these views that have grown stale in the precious metals community. How many people need to say, “They’re watching MTV, not the treasury bubble…”?
He ain’t hatin’ on anybody. Don’t fear being challenged. It’s another leg on the journey.

As for the video, it’s mildly amusing. It’s as if to say, what if you took the standard media convention and covered the news from the sort of perspective you see on Max et al like him.

  22. Steven

“Anyone with half a brain knows a gold coin is basically irrelevant in their lives ”
I guess people with half a brain have to find out the hard way and they will not enjoy the lesson. Thanks to people with half a brain the oppertunity for people with a whole brain that works is for the time being still in place to buy some gold or silver to protect wealth and may be gain a kick ass profit. Intelligent people ought to be rewarded for having the prescience of mind to do the right thing at the right time.

  23. kazimota

The demeanor of suspicion permeates every interaction, evidence of social disfunction and metals manipulation .yes a sad commentary.

  24. evolutis

Interesting … even if you are at what you think of as,” top of the heap”, as an investment banker, you are under the thumb of vested compensation and given the drool on the chin of the guy in the next office; a scary uncertainty.

Give a man a Java chip; something at least real.
The old carnival lot “step right up…something for the little lady?” cause I know, latin, and you don’t … so, I trash talk about “free”, just to make someone look stupid?? Is there some obscene prize in judging other people, based upon your dumb ass belief that you actually, understand the monetary, religion and can in fact, predict the future?

Even if you happen upon somebody who does speak “latin” and give away the gold coin or the $1,700.00 fiat … it’s just accounting, within an artificial environment, that may well be in it’s functionally, obsolete death throws. You are involved in a process of trying to predict a monetary future; an impossibility.[but you've got it together, all others are stupid!] LOL ..u have something on your chin!

“The past and the future are built around the imagination, where past accounting is trying to sell you on a future in an environment of uncertainty. Be present, extract your head from the monetized ass, sit down and give a man a Java chip frappuccino … swap a story, ask him how things are?
Anticipated futures, based on misinformation, not knowledge as value… that is what makes the monetary belief, unbelievable.

  25. dave

I though it was very interesting, how different the perceptions of the general public and the average Keiser viewer is. I feel sympathy for the ordinary people in the video. But whats the difference knowing the price of gold if you still cant afford any.

  26. Robert Toumbos

It never ceases to amaze me just how un-iformed and generally dumb the average American is. Sorry to say it but your contry has no future!

  27. mijj

until gold becomes the star of a major hollywood movie, the general population will be in blissful ignorance of its utility as stable money.
