Stacy Summary: Every year for the Paris Air Show, the luxury hotels of rue Rivoli and Paris 8th & 16th are booked to the rafters with the ‘royal’ families of the Gulf. Every French president, desperate to sell more airplanes and fighter jets, shamelessly grovels to the Saudi ‘king’ and his family.  And within the few short days of the Paris Air Show, the many royal, veiled wives and many royal, veiled daughters have spent tens of millions of dollars in the luxury shops of LVMH and the kings have bought hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars worth of military and passenger jets from French manufacturers.  So it will be very interesting, indeed, to see whether members of the Saudi royal family, get hassled by the police for wearing their veils in public. These women will, obviously, have diplomatic immunity, nevertheless, get the popcorn ready for June 21-23.
