Hi Guys,
My mail failed to deliver this twice to the rttv mail address, so , I’m pasting it through here:
Subject: Hypothetically,theoretically, on paper….
Hi guys,
First , I’d like to say that both of you are so funny, witty, smart, intelligent, good looking and entertaining
that if you ever had a baby it would be JESUS!!!
And now that I’ve totally destroyed any and all potential credibility, here’s my question:
What would be the ‘gold standard’ if alchemy was realized and everybody could make gold in their basement?
Given the rate of advancement of science, I believe that it’s only a matter of time before someone figures out how to manipulate matter at a sub-atomic level and will thus be able to transmute one element into any other. As to the specific methodology, I have my theory.*
Some of the work we’ve done at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle has resulted in increasing the malleability of silver by ten-fold, vaporizing part of an electric induction kiln and creating an EMP. So, there’s that. The wackety-do part is that the hypothesis is extracted straight out of The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trimegistus – probably fake, but pretty damned romantic if you ask me. And you know how we hopeless ones are…
Best-est regards,
much love,
your friend,
Steve Huntley
